Martha MartinAs a teacher at Kino School, Martha has more than 10 years experience. She has taught levels of mathematics from junior high through high school. She believes understanding the meaning of the answer to mathematical problems is most important and creating real world models are best examples for finding meaning in mathematics. Her oldest daughter is a graduate of Kino School.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics, 1989. She also has a Masters Degree in Teacher and Teacher Education with a focus on High School Math as well as Non-Euclidean Geometry 1997 When she’s not teaching mathematics, you can find her hiking to the top of the local beautiful mountain ranges, creating beautiful beadwork or other art medians like clay tiles, tie dye, drawing mandalas, and water coloring .
