Jennifer has been teaching at Kino since 2007. She received her AA in Liberal Arts and AA in General Studies from Pima Community College, and her BFA in Art Education from the University of Arizona with an emphasis in Photography and Community Arts.
At Kino, Jennifer has facilitated several community outreach projects with organizations such as Therapeutic Riding of Tucson, The Humane Society, and Casa Maria Soup Kitchen. Recently Jennifer and a group of students worked on an eight week art project with the residents of La Cañada Care Home.
Jennifer has taken students everywhere from the Dragoon and Chiricahua mountains of Arizona, to the glaciers and peaks of Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. Jennifer teaches mid-level language arts, junior high and high school literature, creative writing, photography, art history, and cooking.
She lives near the University with her partner and two dogs. In her spare time she is a professional photographer and likes playing her Celtic harp.
