Here is Jordan dancing last night in the Zuzi Dance Company’s concert Come Together. A good chunk of the school was there to watch her.

Here are AJ and Cheyenne heading off for a week of adventure floating down the Colorado River.  AJ decided to do this (which also involved designing and building the boat) as his Senior Project. Cheyenne went along for the ride.  Heather and Chris were nearby all week.

It’s rarely windy enough from the right direction to make our O spin, but luckily Paige spotted it and got a movie of it for posterity.

It's important to be flexible with lesson plans; you never know when something will capture students' imaginations and take you in an unexpected direction.

So Ryan was lying on the floor working on math and she said, “Al! You’re killing me with math!” Al, of course, got out some tape and marked the crime scene.

The students in her math group, with the help of some older kids like Katy and Alex, took it from there. Al says the next thing she knew they had separated themselves into suspects, witnesses, and detectives. They compiled evidence and posted wanted posters around the school.  Now they are putting together a magazine of the witnesses’ statements and their theories about what happened.

The evidence is carefully preserved (and fabricated)
