Anna’s and Vanessa’s homerooms and Mary Lou (more than twenty people in all) went to Denny’s this morning and everyone got a free Grand Slam breakfast. Denny’s was offering Grand Slams to all comers from 6 am to 2 pm.
There was about an hour’s wait before it was their turn. They entertained themselves playing Minister’s Cat all the way to Z (“The minister’s cat is a zealous cat,”) and Hangman in Latin.
