Check out Aiden’s super-cool tortoise coming to get you! It’s got legs that walk, a tail that wags, and a mouth (with a little turtle tongue!) that opens and closes. He made it out of sheet steel, using “lots and lots of hammering,” says Ed, “and some welding. But mostly hammering.”
Here’s Aiden with his tortoise, which gives you a sense of its size. He showed it to the Primary students this morning and they were thrilled by it, especially because we had a live desert tortoise visit Kino last week. Alexander said, “It’s a masterpiece, dude!”
